Designed by renowned boatbuilder/designer Jim Lindell, built by Lindell Yachts, this Lindell 38 is a true Pacific Northwest offshore fishing yacht that combines commercial-grade capability, exceptional safety, and luxury cruising comfort. Research & Development has been to SE Alaska and back, a trip around Vancouver Island, as well as extensive inside passage explorations. With a 550 gallon fuel tank, there is no range anxiety!
She looks remarkably close to new—far nicer than you would expect from a 2019 vessel. Meticulously cared for with what can only be described as a bottomless credit card, she has been shrink-wrapped and dry-stored during the winter, professionally maintained, and continually upgraded. Like all Lindell Yachts, the Lindell 38 is designed for extreme fishing and cruising adventure, but utilizing the latest technology of outboard power. Designed by naval architect, Greg Marshall, the 20 degree hull design is exclusively for outboards and strikes the perfect balance between speed and stability in even the roughest waters.
Note: Over the last 30 years I’ve had too many fishing boats to count. The 38 Lindell is by far the most “correct” boat I have ever run in this class. With engine controls and a bow thruster at the cockpit steering station, it fishes better than any of the smaller fishing boats. Whether you are offshore for tuna or running cut plugs at River’s Inlet in a crowd, this boat is “fishy” and will do it all.

This was a dream boat to own, it was perfect for the time period we owned it. Our last boat was a great weekender. This boat was perfect for 2-4 week outings. Our next boat will be more appropriate for longer 2-3 month summer cruising -which means we’re gonna need a bigger boat.
